From its humble beginnings decades past, to the modern version of Hoyo with a vast portfolio of blends, it all started with tradition. To celebrate that, the folks at HdM have decided to grace us with the Hoyo de Monterrey Oscuro!The Hoyo de Monterrey Oscuro uses a Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper, a first from HdM, atop an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder and long-fillers from The Dominican Republic, Honduras, and Nicaragua. The Oscuro has plenty of flavor to go around, with medium-bodied notes of dark fruit, cocoa, cedar, a bit of earth, and spice every puff of the way.
