Short Churchill starts with a dark, rustic look and a 6 x 48 box-pressed shape that puts the blend’s richer notes right up front. From AJ Fernandez’s factory in Nicaragua, the Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper, Mexican San Andres binder, and Nicaraguan filler roll out dark ground coffee, almond sweetness, cocoa, anise, and a bold finish with repeat coffee on the back end. Medium-full in strength, it lands like espresso and dark chocolate with a little spice cabinet sweetness tucked in.
