Valle Verde joins the Partagas lineup as a permanent release and becomes the brand’s first cigar to showcase a San Andrés wrapper grown in the famed Green Valley of Veracruz, Mexico. This region rises nearly 4,000 feet above the Gulf, known for its cooler temperatures and mineral-rich volcanic soil. From the 2020 harvest comes a flawless, light-brown wrapper leaf carrying natural tones of earth, sweetness, and cocoa. Honoring more than 175 years of Partagas tradition, Valle Verde uses a 2015 shade-grown Cameroon leaf—an unmistakable hallmark of the brand—as its binder. The filler blend incorporates additional Mexican San Andrés tobacco along with Nicaraguan Jalapa and Estelí ligero from the 2020 crop, delivering a touch of refined spice. The end result is a smooth yet layered profile, offering a beautifully balanced mix of rich sweetness, gentle spice, and a hint of black pepper.
