Oliva Serie V 135th Anniversary Edicion Limitada | Perfecto (5.5"x54) | Box of 12

Marking 135 years since Melanio Oliva first planted tobacco in Cuba, the Oliva Serie V 135th Anniversary Edición Limitada stands as one of the most meaningful releases in the brand’s storied history. This cigar honors a lineage of craftsmanship that began in 1886 and continues today as one of the most respected traditions in premium tobacco. Built on the foundation of the award-winning Serie V blend, the 135th Anniversary uses a dark, beautifully fermented Ecuadorian Habano wrapper laid over rich Nicaraguan ligero tobaccos from Oliva’s premier growing regions. What sets this edition apart is its eye-catching 5.5" x 54 perfecto vitola, featuring a rounded head and gracefully tapered foot. This elegant shape not only enhances visual appeal—it also intensifies the flavor progression and deepens the burn dynamics. The result is a bold, refined smoking experience showcasing coffee, leather, caramel, chocolate, and wood, culminating in a resonant espresso-laden finish. The perfecto shape concentrates the smoke early before opening into full, layered complexity—making each third of the cigar distinct and memorable. Originally released in limited 12-count fantail boxes (15,000 boxes worldwide), the 135th Anniversary quickly became a collector favorite. Due to overwhelming demand, it has since secured a place as a staple offering in the Serie V family. Rated 91 points by Cigar Aficionado, the cigar was praised for its “bold, coffee-like smoke” and its “dramatically tapered shape,” solidifying its status as both a tribute and a triumph. This is far more than a commemorative release—it's a celebration of lineage, craftsmanship, and one of the greatest blends Oliva has ever created.
