H Upmann by AJ Fernandez Churchill - Box of 20
Blended by AJ Fernandez for one of cigar making’s most established names, the H Upmann by AJ Fernandez Churchill delivers a more robust interpretation of the brand’s classic sensibility. This 7 x 54 Churchill is handmade in Nicaragua at AJ Fernandez’s factory and uses an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper over a Corojo 99 binder with Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers. The profile is medium to full-bodied, balancing richness with a measured sweetness rather than overwhelming strength. Expect notes of cedar, dark roast coffee, hazelnut, and cabinet spice, with a smoky character that gives the blend added depth. In a Churchill format, it offers a long, unhurried session that will generally run about 75 to 105 minutes, depending on pace.

Rich and smooth

I bought a 5-pack of these to try since I'd heard good things about them. I've smoked two of them now, and they were both excellent. It's a beautiful cigar. Construction and burn is perfect. It has a cedar-like spiciness without being over the top, and it is bursting with rich, smooth, sweet cocoa notes. I'll be buying more.

I bought a 5-pack of the Churchill's to try. I've smoked two so far, both wonderful. Beautiful cigar, great construction, perfect draw and burn. Medium-full strength, plenty of smoke output. Cedar spice, sweet cocoa, coffee and cream. Black pepper on retrohale. My next purchase of these will be a box.

You can never go wrong with any AJ Fernandez smoke, but this cigar burns slowly and even for sitting out all day. These have been a big favorite of mine while working from home.
