Baccarat Panetela Cigars are a long and illustrious smoke well suited for any junior aficionado just starting their tobacco journey. The Baccarat name can be traced back to 1871, and cigar enthusiasts have continued to enjoy it since the brand returned to the market in 1978.
Each Baccarat cigar is crafted entirely from Honduran grown tobacco. The blend begins with Jamastran Habano leaves used as the filler, supported by a Mexican seed Dulce binder. Everything is wrapped in an elegant Connecticut Shade leaf, and the cap is finished using a traditional Indian gum sealing method that adds a touch of sweetness.
Once lit, the cigar delivers a mellow and easygoing profile featuring hints of cocoa, nutmeg, and gently toasted wheat with a natural sweetness. At six and one eigth inches and a thirty two ring gauge, each cigar is a delightful fifty minute smoke.

Awesome taste for a Fuente guy

It's a different flavor, more earthy/nutty but that's just my palette. I smoke good cigars for the price and this is one of them.

Picked one of these up because I read a reviewer say his friend always packs a Baccarat as a backup and after smoking one I think I understand why. First is the appearance, flawless. Next the unlit smell is great, reminds me of walking into a cigar store. And the lit taste is very light with natural tobacco sweetest finished off with a sweetened cap to reenforce the tobaccos sweetness without taking over. Overall its a well constructed traditional flavor cigar for a very good price. If you like sweet but do not want a flavored cigar, this might be the place to start. Also had the change to compare these to the Baccarat Bonita and I prefer the Panatela smoking experience of the Bonita.
