Davidoff Escurio Petit Robusto - Single of 1
Davidoff Escurio Petit Robusto brings the distinctive character of the Escurio line into a compact 3 1/4 x 50 format that delivers surprising depth in a shorter smoke. Handmade in the Dominican Republic, this premium cigar pairs an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper with a Brazilian Cubra binder and a blend of Dominican and Brazilian fillers. The result is a profile that reflects Davidoffโs polished approach to blending while drawing much of its personality from Brazilian tobaccos, which add a lively sweetness and spice that set Escurio apart from more traditional Dominican expressions. The Petit Robusto opens with notes of cedar, cream, and sweet earth before building into flavors of pepper, roasted coffee, and a subtle touch of dark chocolate. There is a tangy brightness in the blend that keeps the richer flavors focused rather than heavy, and the shorter vitola tends to concentrate that interplay early in the smoke. Construction is typically sharp and even, with a firm draw and a measured burn that lets the cigar develop clearly from first light to finish. For smokers who appreciate balance but want more energy and spice than a classic mellow profile, Davidoff Escurio Petit Robusto is an excellent choice, especially when time calls for a shorter format without giving up complexity.

Top noch construction and consistency. Nice bit of tangy sweetness on the finish. Great for a real quick smoke. Would have given it 5 stars but just a bit too quick of a smoke for me.

I read about the big evolutions throughout the smoke but I will have to say what I really got out of this cigar was strong coffee bean notes and a little bit of sweetness. Don't get me wrong, I loved it, it was awesome, really want to try the larger sizes to see how they develop.

Disregard deserves a 5 out of five but the frustration I had as a fast smoker left me wanting so much more when I burnt through this in 15 minutes. An inch longer would have made all the difference.
