La Galera 1936 Box Pressed Chaveta - Robusto - Single of 1

With a line that is already dedicated to honoring the rollers that helped build his company, “La Galera” means “roller’s room” in Spanish, Jose “Jochy” Blanco is double booking the dedications by also paying homage to the year his factory was founded. The La Galera 1936 Box Pressed is named for the year Jochy's Tabacalera Palma factory, the factory that launched brands like Aging Room and La Flor Dominicana, first opened its doors, forever changing the landscape of the cigar world. The 1936 Box pressed is a fitting example of how passionately the La Galera team is when it comes to creating their cigars. A medium to full bodied cigar, the La Galera 1936 is a Dominican Puro that features a Habano wrapper and a blend of Criollo 98 and Piloto Cubano long-filler tobaccos. The blend of tobaccos produces a powerful and aromatic smoke, with notes of fruit, caramel, cocoa and cinnamon, and a heavy red pepper that is powerful and potent. Incredibly well-constructed, the box pressed La Galera 1936 offers a slow and savory burn whose taste, and choice of aged Dominican tobaccos, belies its surprisingly low cost. More than 3 generations in the making, La Galera 1936 Box Pressed is a welcome addition to the world of Medium to full bodied Premium Cigars.
