To ensure authenticity, these cigars feature a double band that is individually numbered. Also box-pressed in the Padron family tradition, the 1926 Serie was produced in 2002 to commemorate Jose O. Padron's 75th birthday. From their farm fields and factory in Nicaragua, Jose, Jorge, and Orlando Padron evaluate the refined tobaccos for five years of fermentation and curing to produce these special cigars. The result is a smooth and balanced complex smoking experience to remember.

This is what I like to pair with some Macallen after a long week on the road. Great power and lots of complexity in this little belicoso, it will pair well with most any aged spirit.

What a fabulous ride to the cigar takes you on. It's bittersweet and creamy and fools you in the beginning that it's going to be a soft subtle cigar until about an inch in the power kicks up and uppercuts you back into your chair. Thoroughly enjoyed the flavor evolution and the power build up right until the end.

This is an awesome smoke. Full bodied, but very smooth. Very controlled burn. I don't normally smoke cigars down to the band, but I didn't want this one to end...
