Each Pledge sports a Connecticut Habano wrapper leaf, that is very rare in cigars today. It’s a mellower, more refined tobacco than the Broadleaf that is typically grown in Connecticut. Under the wrapper, you’ll find a binder from Ecuador and Nicaraguan filler. When lit, Pledge produces a balanced full-bodied profile. The combination of dense black pepper and oak with hints of warm sweetness make Pledge a great cigar any time of day, and an easy recommendation.
