Not only was the core of Nicaraguan Cuban-seed tobaccos aged 15 years, but the Nicaraguan Sungrown wrapper was also aged for 15 years in bourbon barrels, a process that helped make Perdomo famous. My palate is engulfed in a rich yet decadently smooth medium-full bodied tapestry of oak, pepper, sweet spices, roasted nuts, leather, and slight hints of sweetness to pull it all together.
