A most legendary smoke. The Camacho Corojo Series – a different approachTaking a great cigar and making it greater is a hard task to accomplish, trying to stay true to its roots while reinventing itself is a monumental project that even the most skilled cigar maker will shy away from. Not Camacho. They have taken the appropriate steps to recreate one of its most revered cigars and giving it a new legend to tell. At Mike’s Cigars we are proud to bring you another new chapter in the Camacho reinvention with the Camacho Corojo. The Camacho Corojo has been the cigar that has stayed truest to its vintage Cuban counterpart in its heyday. The Camacho line has taken the Corojo and dialed up its already rich, robust flavors, amping up intensity, making it a great full bodied blend. This bold cigar has been built with a high-grade wrapper leaf and grown with a seed that has been in a constant state of perfection for the past 40 years. The Filler tobaccos are a 3 times primed authentic Corojo, wrapped with an authentic Corojo (5th primed) wrapper and of course using an authentic Corojo binder. What makes the Camacho Corojo so special is the seeds which are used to create this bold cigar. Back in the 60’s Camacho received a small handful of smuggled Authentic Corojo seeds; they took these seeds and began growing them in the Jamastran Valley of Honduras. A rugged patch of land that had a similar climate to that of Cuba’s famed “Vuelta Abajo” Region. Over the course of the next 40 years, Camacho has learned and perfected growing this Corojo seed, making them one of the last in the world in possession and preserving this crucial element that made the Camacho Corojo so great, but keeping the same traits that made the Cuban cigars and tobaccos famous over the years. The Camacho Corojo Series – a new approach from an old legend.
