Camacho Cigars is a bold, Honduran-based brand known for its intense, full-flavored blends built around the legendary Corojo tobacco. The first premium cigar brand to successfully recreate Cuban growing traditions on non-Cuban soil, Camacho is the undisputed master of spicy, complex Honduran profiles. Now part of the Davidoff of Geneva portfolio, Camacho combines boutique attention to detail with the resources of a global powerhouse — earning numerous 90+ ratings across its lineup.
CigarFinder compares Camacho cigar prices across 17+ trusted online retailers in real time, so you can find the lowest price on every Camacho blend.
Camacho's roots trace to the Eiroa family, Honduran tobacco pioneers who cultivated the original Cuban Corojo seed in the fertile Jamastran Valley. Family patriarch Julio Eiroa founded Caribe Imported Cigars in 1989, with Baccarat and La Fontana as early brands. The family purchased Camacho in 1995 and began experimenting with Corojo wrappers — noted for their brownish-red hue and distinctive spiciness.
The original Camacho Corojo debuted in 2000 and put the brand on the map. The famed Corojo seed had been refined decades earlier in Cuba by revered tobacco grower Diego Rodriguez, and Camacho is the brand most credited with transplanting that legendary reputation from Cuba to Honduras. Under Christian Eiroa, the brand built a devoted following.
Camacho Triple Maduro became the brand's most sought-after smoke. A remarkable 84 blends were trialed before settling on the final recipe — aged Honduran, Dominican, and Brazilian long-fillers under a Mexican Corojo Maduro binder and Mexican San Andres wrapper, delivering roasted nuts, cedar, anise, espresso, and lively pepper.
Davidoff purchased Camacho in 2008, reimagining it with bright packaging and a scorpion-themed 'Live Loud' campaign. In 2017 a new factory opened in Honduras with 500 workers.
The modern lineup covers every palate. Camacho Connecticut delivers a creamy medium body. Camacho Ecuador features leather and black pepper with molasses. The BXP extension adds Pennsylvania Broadleaf from Amish farmland. American Barrel Aged features Corojo leaves matured in American oak whiskey barrels for bourbon-like sweetness.

Camacho is known for bold cigars built around legendary Corojo tobacco from Honduras. It was the first brand to recreate Cuban growing traditions on non-Cuban soil. The Corojo and Triple Maduro blends are celebrated for intense, full-flavored profiles.
Triple Maduro uses Maduro leaf in all three components. 84 blends were trialed before settling on the final recipe with aged Honduran, Dominican, and Brazilian fillers under Mexican San Andres wrapper. It delivers roasted nuts, cedar, anise, espresso, and pepper.
BXP takes the Corojo, Ecuador, and Connecticut lines and adds Pennsylvania Broadleaf from Amish farmland for bolder, richer profiles. BXP Connecticut offers leather and coffee. BXP Ecuador adds pepper and citrus. BXP Corojo delivers espresso and salted caramel.
The Oettinger Davidoff Group purchased Camacho from the Eiroa family in 2008. The cigars are produced in Honduras at a modern factory opened in 2017 with roughly 500 workers.
Camacho Connecticut is the most approachable with a creamy medium body. Ecuador is a great step up. The Corojo and Triple Maduro are for those ready for full-bodied intensity.
Connecticut and Ecuador run 6-10 dollars. Corojo costs 7-12 dollars. Triple Maduro and BXP range from 8-14 dollars. American Barrel Aged runs 10-15 dollars. Compare on CigarFinder.
