Oliva Gilberto Reserva Blanc Toro - Pack of 5
for the first time since 2012—arguably 2008—Oliva releases an entirely new cigar line. It’s called the Oliva Gilberto, named after the family’s patriarch, and if it looks a bit familiar, it’s because it is. The cigar was originally announced as the Facundo, Gilberto Oliva Sr.’s father and son of Melanio Oliva, who got his own cigar in 2012. However, due to a trademark conflict with rum maker Bacardi, the company changed the name. Oliva Gilberto cigars are an eclectic mix of Nicaraguan fillers, Ecuadorian binder and a sumptuous Sumatran wrapper.

Big Oliva Fan but not a big spender. This gives me the Oliva quality i love with a price i can afford to buy multiples at. Flavor profile is sweet and nutty with lots of spice on the retrohale. Keep me comin Gilberto!

I was at a friend's house and he invited me to smoke one of these sticks. I liked them so much that I wanted to buy some for my humidor. I was going to buy like a 5-pack but when I realized the cost of these cigars in a box comes down to like $5 per smoke, I bought myself a whole box. I'll definitely will be enjoying them for a while as I do not smoke that often. Good purchase, I am happy.

These cigars are covered with a light brown, oily wrapper. The aroma from the wrapper brings up notes of dark cocoa and espresso beans. Additionally, once lit, my palate found hints of nuts and leather (yeah, I have sucked/tasted leather before) Great quality cigar for every occasion.
