Liga Privada H99 Toro Petaca 4ct / 6 x 52 Pack of 4

Liga Privada is a direct translation of private blend in Spanish. Whether Drew Estate is something you reach for regularly in the cigar space, heres your introduction to Liga Privada Cigars. Its roots took hold in the summer of 2005, with the first blending of the Liga 9. According to then-President Steve Saka, "the basic goal was to simply have the factory make -ME- a cigar I would like to smoke and would feel confident in handing out to my industry compadres." It was never intended to be a cigar that would be made for public consumption. It was to be a Drew Estate cigar for his personal enjoyment and would feel good about sharing with friends and associates. This led to a problem. It turned out to be a good problem but a problem for Saka and the blending team, nonetheless. What was once a personal and private blend had now become quite public and beloved. Everyone wanted more of the cigars and to have it released to the public. Thus, the challenge presented itself, as there was only very limited quantities available. The blend saw its first batch release in 2007 and is a Nicaragua-based line of cigars created inside Drew Estate facilities. Setting this brand apart from the competition, while many companies were pushing puros, Liga was an obscure and captivating four-country blend that employed a Brazilian Mata Fina to wrap an expensive, tantalizing, broadleaf tobacco grown in Connecticut. The blend debuted in one size fast becoming a hit amongst the cigar community in just two short years in 2009. Fast forward and lines Liga Privada T52, followed shortly by Liga Privada Unico Serie, came along. Showcased in each cigar in the lineup is finely aged tobacco, making every offering highly covetable in the industry. There are few brands on the market of Drew Estates caliber able to foray into the elite and premium top-shelf cigar space pivoting away from their popular infused Tabak, ACID and Java lines and successfully; Liga Privada is a testament to this. The rare tobaccos employed to create the Liga line are in excellent hands. They are rolled by Drew Estates most skilled and masterful Torcedors ensuring the smoking experience is beyond reproach. All the different and distinct blends formatted into an array of Vitolas are in short supply due to limitations in tobacco availability, construction and costs. Just know that when you're shopping for special cigar brands that provide earthy and tarry flavors, few options on the market do it like Liga Privada.
