Crowned Heads burst on the scene with a slew of non-stop hits. But their biggest initial success was a cigar called Las Calaveras. Released as a limited-edition in 2014, cigar lovers could not get enough of this blend. So, Jon Huber worked with the folks at My Father Cigars to recreate the original blend and offer it every day. The result is La Imperiosa – a Cuban brand from the 1990s that inspired the artwork of this release.Crowned Heads’ La Imperiosa is built with Nicaraguan binder and fillers, and an oily Ecuadorian Habano wrapper leaf. Full-bodied and full-flavored, this cigar explodes with flavor on every draw. The first few puffs are loaded with a burst of red pepper. Eventually, the cigar eases off the throttle and delivers dark fruit, earth, and a smoky, charred meat flavor.
