La Flor Volcada - 5 Pack

Good blend and unique with red fruit and pepper notes. I like this one a lot and the vitola is perfect. Unfortunately I've had similar construction issues and tight draws like many in the LFD portfolio.

I genuinely enjoy the blending style of most LFD cigars but this one hit it for me more than the rest. You get a fuller flavored cigar with out the over arching spicy/pepper bomb that some will lean to in this type of blend. More cocoa, coffee, toasted oak, and just enough pepper to tease the senses. I wish I had more of these, as I only bought the 5 pack and they are box worthy!

I expected La Volcada to be a powerhouse stick, like its sister, La Nox. I was pleasantly surprised to find it quite different. Medium+ strength and full-bodied, it's a mellower, smoother smoke, without giving up any flavor. The San Andreas wrapper is a bit rough, but gorgeous and delicious.
