Fuente in the Dominican Republic. The VSG name stands for Virgin Sun Grown, and this cigar is known for a dense, oily wrapper leaf and a richer profile than many traditional Ashton releases.In the 6 x 56 Wizard format, that blend delivers a broad, slow-burning smoke with notes often centered on earth, espresso, cedar, dark spice, and a measured sweetness. This is a celebration cigar for me. Big Name, big size and BIG flavor. I keep a box on had for special occasions and just smoked one yesterday for the anniversary. Just phenomenal, leather and nutmeg with heavy smoke production. Pure satisfaction for the full bodied cigar lover.

This is a big stick with a big kick. Do not attempt this as your into to Ashton....you got to ease into this. With a fully belly and a big bold red wine you're good to go.

You may think it odd me recommending this one of the largest of the vsgs for someone to taste them for the first time but just because it's bigger doesn't mean it's stronger. You'll get the essence of what Ashton was trying to give you but without all of the violence that some of the smaller sizes can bring.
