Sébastien Decoppet launched Cavalier Genève in 2014 from an unlikely cigar capital — Geneva, Switzerland. A lifelong cigar enthusiast, Decoppet wanted to apply the Swiss ethos of precision, quality, and refinement to cigar blending. He partnered with the Plasencia family's factory in Danlí, Honduras, to produce his vision.
The Black Series II became Cavalier's breakout hit — a full-bodied Honduran blend with a dark, oily wrapper that delivers waves of espresso, dark chocolate, earth, and spice. It earned a 93 rating from Cigar Aficionado and put the brand on the map. The White Series offers a more refined, medium-bodied alternative with an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper.
The Inner Circle is the ultra-premium offering, made in extremely limited quantities with the finest tobaccos available. The Black Series Limitada features annual limited releases that showcase rare tobaccos. The Blue Series and Small Batch lines round out a portfolio that has earned Cavalier a place among the most respected new brands in the industry.
