Davidoff Royal Release Robusto - Box of 10

Davidoff Royal Release Robusto sits at the very top of the brand’s portfolio, created as an ultra-premium cigar built around exceptional tobacco selection, extended aging, and exacting craftsmanship. Rolled in the Dominican Republic in a 5 1/2 x 55 format, this cigar is made only by Davidoff’s most experienced torcedores, with each component chosen to deliver a notably composed and polished smoking experience. The Royal Release name is not just a packaging distinction; it reflects a blend designed for unusual smoothness, balance, and texture from the first draw. The blend is centered on well-aged Dominican tobaccos, including a Dominican wrapper, binder, and filler selected for refinement rather than sheer intensity. That approach gives the Robusto a creamy, layered profile with notes often associated with cedar, roasted nuts, light spice, and a gentle natural sweetness, all delivered with the kind of precision that has long defined Davidoff at its best. The larger ring gauge adds breadth to the smoke without sacrificing elegance, making the format especially appealing to those who appreciate body and richness presented in a measured, composed way. Davidoff Royal Release Robusto is best understood as a cigar for smokers who value nuance, construction, and consistency above overt power. Its dark presentation reinforces the sense of formality, but the character remains understated and controlled rather than heavy. For anyone exploring the upper tier of Dominican cigars, this is a release that stands apart through patience in its making and restraint in its profile.
