The story behind Rigoletto
Rigoletto first appeared in the early 1900s and became a fixture of Tampa's Ybor City cigar trade. After the Cuban embargo, production moved to the Dominican Republic for several decades. Today, much of the line is made at J.C. Newman Cigar Company's El Reloj factory in Tampa, Florida, using antique hand-operated rolling machines that have been in service for more than 50 years.
The brand is now part of the Villiger family, the Swiss cigar company founded in 1888.
