Known for striking packaging, full-bodied Nicaraguan blends, and limited production runs, BLTC has earned a devoted following among cigar enthusiasts who crave intensity and complexity. CigarFinder compares Black Label Trading Co prices across 17+ trusted retailers.
James Brown founded Black Label Trading Company in 2013, bringing a designer's eye and a bold palate to the cigar industry. Working with the Fabrica de Tabacos NicaSueno factory in Esteli, Nicaragua (the same facility behind Dunbarton Tobacco and Trust), Brown creates dark, intensely flavored cigars that stand apart from the mainstream.
The Deliverance is BLTC's most celebrated line — a full-bodied bruiser featuring a Pennsylvania Broadleaf Maduro wrapper that delivers waves of dark chocolate, espresso, earth, and black pepper. It is not a cigar for the faint of heart. Santa Muerte offers a slightly more refined but still bold experience with a San Andres wrapper.
The Bishops Blend is a medium-full offering that showcases Brown's versatility. Royalty adds a touch of refinement with a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. Last Rites and Salvation round out a portfolio that consistently delivers dark, complex, full-flavored smoking experiences. Every BLTC release features James Brown's signature graphic design work on the packaging.
